ENVIRONMENTAL CORRECTIONS
Most often, this refers to the soil level at the base of a tree. Either the tree was originally planted too deeply, over-mulched, or back-filled with soil. The high soil or mulch levels around the trunk prevent the tree from transferring nutrients properly, from roots to leaves and from leaves to roots. By properly excavating the soil and mulch, we can correct this problem and greatly improve the health of the tree.
